As Chair of the Educational Equity Committee of the Newark Branch of the NAACP, I am privileged to work with these University of Delaware students, Chelsea, Ph.D. candidate, and Chapter Leader, Crista, to help them reactivate the University of Delaware’s chapter of the  NAACP. The chapter has been dormant since COVID-19. The University Chapter is student-driven, with the role of the Newark branch assisting with membership compliance, guidance, and resources when needed.
